We are a Mallorcan family living at Finca Son Cladera. The property has been in our family for generations and is practically another member of the family to us.
In 2022, we decided to transform the “possessió” (as it’s called in Mallorcan) so that we could continue to maintain it in the condition it deserves and so that others could enjoy it as well.
Son Cladera is one of the main possessions in Sa Pobla, the municipality to which it proudly belongs. It has been a farm used for both mountain and lowland crops; it has had a tafona (olive press) and also a mill.
It has also been a gathering place for figures in Mallorcan culture, such as Costa i Llobera, María Antonia Salvà, and Emilia Sureda i Bimet. The latter has dedicated several poems to the “possessió.”
Our family has had the honor of living at Son Cladera for several generations, and for many of us, it has become our favorite place in the world.
Welcome! We hope that, if you decide to visit the estate, you’ll enjoy it as much as we do and create your own special experience.
